Hunger for LifeOdysseus tells his crew to go pass Thrinkia, which is the island of the sun god. When his men beg him to land there he tells them not to touch the cattle that is on the island because it belongs to the god. Odysseus prays for solitude and the gods just gave him sleep. Eventually the men were really hungry and they were desperate for food. Then he hears that someone is saying that they can not fight their hunger so they decide to get one of the cattle and sacrifice it to their gods. When Odysseus wakes up he feels angry that he was asleep when this happened. Helios comes and tells Zeus to punish Odysseus men. When Odysseus is on his boat with his men Zeus sends a thunder bolt on the ship and destroys it. All of his men die except Odysseus and goes back to Calypso.
